Three for the show

The warm-ups are over. No more easing into it. Florida Atlantic practiced for the first time in full pads on Tuesday and if that wasn’t intense enough, try today’s schedule.

The Owls will take the field for three-a-days starting on Wednesday with a full contact scrimmage set for the final practice. It can be debated just how much the FAU players will get out of the scrimmage, but one thing is for sure - the Owls will sure be able to work on their conditioning. Abut 3:30 p.m. Next month when the fourth quarter of the Minnesota game is starting at Dolphin Stadium the FAU players may think back to days like Wednesday while the team across the way is struggling in the South Florida sun.
